Exodus 22:26-28

²⁶ If you take your neighbor’s coat as collateral, you are to return it to him by sunset, ²⁷ for it’s his only covering; it’s his outer garment,^[a] for what else can he sleep in? And when he cries out to me, I’ll hear him, for I am gracious.

²⁸ “You are not to blaspheme God or curse a ruler of your people.
